A taste of Korea

The trip to Sakhalin from the Netherlands is long. And when you have to do it reguarly, its pretty boring. Espcially if there aren't any descent movies on. As part of the trip, i usually spend a groggy 5 hours at Incheon airport in South Korea, awaiting my transfer to Sakhalin Island.

Well this time, i decided to make a change. I took an airport tour to a nearby temple. Whilst not the most beautiful i've seen it was a great way to get out of the airport for an hour and get some fresh air.

The temple was small, but authentic with some monks milling around. There was a large tree, which aparently is over a 300 years old. The legend goes you drink from the spring next to it, and pray to the tree to get pregenant. I tried the spring, and got a slight pain in the stomanch and started throwing up in the mornings :)
